Emily Mirabella Profile

I'm a student software developer with a passion for building modern, user-friendly web applications. I specialize in C#, Python, and Cloud Computing. I love turning complex problems into simple, beautiful solutions.

My journey into software development began in 2019, during a period of unprecedented change in education. While teaching through the challenges of the COVID era, I discovered a deep and lasting enthusiasm for technology as both a tool for learning and a medium for innovation.

As a Special Education instructor, I was given the opportunity to envision and build something new. I went on to design and launch a comprehensive STEM program at a local charter school that previously had no such offering. From the ground up, I developed a K–8 curriculum that now serves as the foundation for the school's instruction, while also initiating its first coding and robotics programs.

Through this work, my appreciation for both frontend and backend development grew, shaped by the practical demands of curriculum design, problem solving, and systems thinking.

Since then, I have continued to refine my skills through hands-on projects, steadily expanding my technical expertise and deepening my commitment to building thoughtful, impactful solutions. When I am not coding, I find balance and inspiration in pursuits beyond the screen. I spend time practicing aerial arts, where discipline and creativity intersect, tending to my garden as a reminder of patience and growth, and enjoying meaningful moments with my family. These passions ground my work, fueling the curiosity and perspective I bring back to technology and development.
